Indofood and Indomilk with Badmintalk Supports Indonesia Open 2024

 

Jakarta, June 3, 2024 – PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk (“Indofood CBP”), through its brand Indomilk Steril, proudly continues its support for the Indonesia Open 2024 tournament by partnering with Badmintalk, the largest badminton community in Indonesia. This partnership aims to deliver up-to-date and exclusive information during the matches, which will be held from June 4-9, 2024, at Istora Senayan, Jakarta.

This world-class event is a badminton tournament that excites spectators as badminton enthusiasts from around the globe gather in Indonesia to watch the highly anticipated battle for prestigious titles. Organized by the Badminton Association of Indonesia (PBSI), this prestigious tournament promises thrilling matches, amazing energy, and unforgettable moments. The tournament consistently showcases the skills of top badminton players while also highlighting sportsmanship and friendship.

This world-class tournament is set to impress spectators with a roster of top-ranked shuttlers, tough competitors, including defending champions and young stars eager to make their mark in badminton history. From intense singles matches to adrenaline-filled doubles battles, each match promises expert skills, agility, and camaraderie from the athletes.

At the Kapal Api Indonesia Open 2024 at Istora Senayan, Jakarta, Indonesia’s contingent will be represented by 18 top-ranked players or pairs, including: Jonatan Christie (2024 All England Champion), Anthony Sinisuka Ginting (2024 All England Runner-Up), Gregoria Mariska Tunjung (2023 Kumamoto Masters Japan Champion), Fajar Alfian/M Rian Ardianto (2024 All England Champions), Apriyani Rahayu/Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti (2023 World Championship Runner-Up), and Hendra Setiawan/Mohammad Ahsan (2019 World Champions), who will compete in the Badminton World Federation (BWF) Tour at the highest level. As a result, Indonesia becomes the second country with the largest contingent after China. The 18 top-ranked players or pairs in Indonesia’s team consist of 3 male singles players, 3 female singles players, 5 male doubles pairs, 3 female doubles pairs, and 4 mixed doubles pairs. Fierman added, “We hope the entire Indonesian badminton team will give their best performance and continue to bring pride to the nation.”
