Hans Kartikahadi

Independent Commissioner

Mr. Hans Kartikahadi, 79, an Indonesian citizen, was first appointed as Independent Commissioner based on resolution of the Company’s Annual General Meeting of Shareholders in 2015 and re-elected in 2018. He concurrently serves as the Chairman of the Audit Committee (2015-present) of the Company, and member of the Board of Trustee of University of Indonesia (2019-present). He was previously the Independent Commissioner of PT Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk (2013-2015).

Mr. Kartikahadi was one of the founders of Public Accountants Section Indonesian Accountants Association (“IAI”), which is now known as Indonesian Institute of Public Accountants (IAPI). He was the Chairman of the Indonesian Accounting Standards Setting Committee (Komite PAI, IAI), which is now known as the Indonesian Financial Accounting Standards Board (1986-1990 and 1990-1994). Mr. Kartikahadi pioneered the reform of Indonesian Financial Accounting Standards to converge with International Accounting Standards/International Financial Reporting Standards (IAS/IFRS). He was the Chairman of the Board of CPA Examination in Indonesia (2000-2003). He was also the Founder and Managing Partner of Hans Kartikahadi & Co, Public Accountants, and one of the Founding Partners of Hans, Tuanakotta & Mustofa (“HTM”), a member firm of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu (“DTT”) in Indonesia. Before retirement, he was the Chairman and CEO of HTM Group, a DTT Asia Pacific Management Council Member, and the DTT International Board Member who represented the Asia Pacific region.

Mr. Kartikahadi was a researcher in the fields of accounting, information systems and management at Bremer Auschuss für Wirtschaftsforschung, Bremen, Germany, and a visiting scholar at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, USA.

Mr. Kartikahadi obtained a Doctorandus degree in Accountancy from the Faculty of Economics at the University of Indonesia in 1966.

He has no affiliation with the members of the BOC, BOD or the substantial shareholder of the Company.
