Mr. Franciscus Welirang, an Indonesian citizen, was first appointed as a President Commissioner based on the resolution of the Company’s AGM in 2015 with the latest reappointment in 2021. He also serves as a member of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee (2015-present). He concurrently serves as an Independent Commissioner of PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk (“Indocement”) (2021-present), Commissioner of PT Unggul Indah Cahaya Tbk (2011-present), Director of PT Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk (1995-present), Executive Board Member of the National Committee for Governance Policy (2021-present), Member of the Food Experts Working Group of National Food Agency (2022-present), Advisory Board Member at the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kamar Dagang dan Industri Indonesia or “KADIN”) (2021-present), Advisory Board Member of the Indonesian Public Listed Companies Association (Asosiasi Emiten Indonesia or “AEI”) (2020-present), Advisory Board Member of the Employer’s Association of Indonesia (Asosiasi Pengusaha Indonesia or “APINDO”) (2017-present), Chairman of the Advisory Board to the Association of Philanthropy Indonesia (2021-present), Advisory Board Member of The Nature Conservancy Indonesia (2014-present), Secretary General of PISAgro (2012-present), Member of the National Steering Committee of the Global Environment Fund (2003-present), Chairman of the Indonesian Flour Mills Association (2000-present), and Advisory Board Member of the Indonesian Association of Food Technologists (2000-present). He was previously a Vice President Director of Indocement (2011-2021), Commissioner of ICBP (2009- 2015), President Commissioner of the Surabaya Stock Exchange (2001-2007), Chairman of the AEI (2014-2020), Chairman of Food Security at the APINDO (2013-2017), Vice Chairman of the National Consumer Protection Agency (2009-2012), and Head of the Permanent Committee on Food Security at the KADIN (2008-2021).

Mr. Welirang obtained a Higher National Diploma in Chemical Engineering from South Bank Polytechnic in London, United Kingdom (“UK”) in 1974.

He is related to Mr. Anthoni Salim, the President Director, and Mr. Axton Salim, a Director of the Company; and is affiliated to the Company’s substantial shareholder.
